UPPER WOLFSNARE PLANTATION

The Princess Anne County Chapter, NSDAR, commissioned research on this historic treasure. Built circa 1759, the brick Georgian-style house in Virginia Beach, Virginia, was home to Thomas Walke III, a major in the British army. His son, Thomas Walke IV, was a member of the Virginia Ratifying Convention which voted to ratify the United States Constitution in 1788.
